One more month until the big first birthday!
Obviously having two mobile kids has kept me very busy and has left me with little time to blog!
Selah is an official walker now. A couple weeks ago, she would take 3 or 4 steps as long as she had something to grab nearby. Now she is full on walking across rooms and turning corners and she is constantly on the go!
She says 8 words: dog, woof woof, mama, dada, no, yay, hi and her newest, all done. The other day I asked her to sign 'all done' and she said it, instead! She does it every time we ask her to now. She can sign milk, more and no and is working on signing all done and please.
She loves playing peekaboo and will often just cover her eyes so you can say, "where's Selah?" and she'll smile and lift her hands. She will put her hands in the air and say "yay" or clap when you get excited, and she loves to dance whenever she hears music.
She eats just about everything, with berries and pasta being favorites. She's a very messy eater, that's for sure! She enjoys stroller rides around the block and likes to pop bubbles when we have the bubble machine on for Ezra.
She & Ezra like to chase each other and give hugs and kisses. Super adorbs.
She recently cut two teeth at once making 3 on top and 2 on bottom. She's a pretty good sleeper - a little fussy but sleeps a lot more often and for longer! She sleeps through the night 7pm-7am 90% of the time. Occasionally she'll wake up to nurse for a couple minutes and then go back to bed.
Her party is in just 5 weeks and I'm so excited! We have her photo shoot coming up at the end of this month, and my dad made a lemonade stand for a party prop for her party. It's going to be so cute!
I can't believe that in one month, I'll have two toddlers. This age is always the most fun for me, and it only gets more fun as they get older. I love being a mama of two, and this Sunday is my first Mother's Day with two small humans! They are my joy.
